I used this model in a short animation titled "Time's Up" for an animation class. Everything about this model was designed to be completed and usable for animation as quickly as possible, since the whole project was due in only 2 weeks. His body is extremely simple with no legs and only a spine running up the middle. At the time, I wasn't able to model anything more complicated fast enough. Everything is separated from the main body mesh to avoid having to paint weights for each joint. This was truly a test of efficiency and I was trying to work through all of this with a limited knowledge of rigging and modeling for animation. That being said, I am extremely pleased with how the model performed in the animation! I put some blend shapes on the skull for simple emotions and was able to animate the whole thing without him having legs. He has a special place in my heart because of how Jerry-rigged he was while also being easily usable when put to the test.
